Science excursion

At the Planetarium

On the 20th September the school went on a science excursion to Brisbane. Students  went  to the Mount Cootha look-out, Mount Cootha Botanical Gardens and the Planetarium. They enjoyed the view from the look-out and used their compass direction skills.

We then had a picnic in the Japanese garden followed by the hide and seek adventure trail in the gardens. We completed the day by visiting the Planetarium. Students were amazed by the presentations and the moon.
Students felt like they were in an outer space adventure!
